If you don’t want to buy anything, just wear pajamas, a bathrobe, slippers, curlers, and carry a laundry basket = "Mom"
Or
A flannel shirt (preferably sleeveless and with holes), old blue jeans, a belt with a big bucket, cowboy boots, and trucker hat = "Redneck"
Or
All the clothes you have that are black, red, lacy, studded, with flames, skulls, spiders, dragons, or anything "goth" – include stockings, jewelry, and shoes, .. put together an outfit from some of the peices, wear lots of eyeliner and eyeshadow, and do something "wild" with your hair = "Rockstar"
Or
just grab whatever is left at a party store or Wal-Mart if you don’t mind buying something. If there aren’t any "complete" outfits, look for a pair of devil horns (with or without tail and pitchfork.. they don’t really matter) or cat ears (try to get a tail with this one) then go home and wear either all red or all black. This allows you to have freedom to make the costume for warm or cool weather, sexy or family-friendly, comfy or fashionable, etc.. (and use an eyeliner pencil to make a nose and whiskers, or make really dramatic eyes with fancy curls or points on the sides for the devil) = "Devil" or "Cat"
boring, but there aren’t many options left at this point.
