I mean the cover of the album was a naked ten year old, that’s just not right and I’m sure so many pedophiles were delighted by seeing it.

Thats why after less than a week on the shelves, the band pulled the album and replaced it with a cover showing simply a picture of the band. However, Blind Faith’s infamous cover to their only (eponymous) album, showing a topless 12-year old redhead holding what appears to be a plane pointed downwards towards her nether regions, is still in print even to this day. Im pretty sure in the Scorp’s case, they prob did it just to piss people off. And hell if it didn’t work!

I don't know if I have a coldsore or not?
As a regular coldsore sufferer, I panicked when I felt a small bump and tingle in the corner of my lips.

I ran home as soon as I could and applied an ice-cube to it, as I read that doing this early on can actually drive the virus back into it’s domant state. The bump was tiny at this point.

Then I put some surgical spirit on it.

Later on in the day I used zovirax cream. then for bed I put a compeed patch on.

Today I’ve used zovirax, a patch and even taken 500mg lysine tablet.

Whats weird though is that I can’t actually see any coldsore. There’s been no swelling or pussing at all.

Have I conquered it or was it a false alarm?

Does this mean I can kiss my bf tomorrow?!

What are your views on this ? Would you like to express your views ?
Most of the people are accustomed to giving by putting their receiver on the receipient side. There is also another way of giving and that is by allowing others to feel like Givers themselves. But if one understands the Essence of Giving, they would know that Giving is all about inspiring happiness in any person. Even in any organization, the logic of inspiring the Team Spirit in the members centres around the idea that when people are made to realize that there is an effective Giver in them, their efficiency levels really shoot up. Thus, we can GIVE even while receiving if we express our GRATITUDE to the giver making him or her realize that they made an effective impact on our lives.

What are your views on this ? Would you like to express your views ?

You’ve made my day as an acceptor. I have been able to ‘give’ only a very few times, and mostly to people whom I am totally unrelated to.
Bulletin | Feb 05, 2010

I can see what you’re saying. I agree, and think it’s a great path for giving: getting others to realize that they too are givers. Gratitude –to me– is very important to express because I think human-beings don’t always realize the many ways they give, and the act of expressing gratitude brings the act of the giver to the surface. Sometimes we simply don’t realize the impact we have on other people.
What he finds is a man who is turning a seemingly idyllic town into a seething underbelly of corruption: drugs, bootlegging, and female sexual slavery. The very man responsible for the murders is someone who won’t stand down and pay a long standing debt that turned those looking for it, dead. The last unfortunate person to do so was ground into sausage, a nasty business run by that man who specializes in cattle. What occurs is a gang war between the men who now dominate this farm locale with an iron fist, and the men trying to put closure on an escalating situation.

The fed just cut .5% on Discount Rate (not prime rate) on Loans to Banks. What does this mean for me?
I am closing on a home loan on Nov 1st. My interest rate is floating (i havent locked it in yet)— what does this mean will happen to my interest rate?

nothing really. with the amount of time you have i would suggest you get offers form different lenders and pick the best one or take the best offer yo uhave in hand now to a source and see if they beat it.

www.directlendingplanet.com they have the lowest rates and fess i have seen. dont let anyone tell you you are obligated. do whats best for you period!

 beachlover | Aug 17, 2007

Prime rate may or may not fall. I’ve heard other news that the prime rate will be going up. It’s a gamble.
Matthew | Aug 17, 2007

The discount rate is mostly symbolic and really won’t affect your situation.

Floating your rate is very VERY risky right now. Of course with the loan close so far out, you won’t really be able to find a lender that will lock that far ahead.

With all the chaos going on in the market, I’ve seen rates on some loans (a 5 year fixed ARM for example) go from 6% to 6.625% in the last 2 weeks. Jumbo (loans above $417,000) have gone from 6.75% to 8% in the last 2 weeks.

Rates normally follow the 10 year treasury bonds pretty closely. What affects the bonds also affects the rates. However, we’ve seen the opposite happen over the last 2 weeks. Rates are skyrocketing due to the liquidity crisis and are not tracking the bond market at all. The reason is supply and demand. There is still healthy (but diminishing) demand in the market for loans, but the supply of money to lend has really retracted. That means the investors (few loans actually are given by traditional banks now days) are asking for increased interest rates to even consider lending the cash they have. So many have picked up their toys and left that the few still playing are able to demand much more interest.

Best of luck!
Ben V | Aug 17, 2007

Nothing. However, your bank may be able to stay in business to complete your transaction.

Plot: While the entire world watches the largest meteor shower in 10,000 years, a rogue asteroid, hidden by the meteor field, smashes into the moon in a tremendous explosion of rock and debris. Fragments from the asteroid, and even from the moon itself, penetrate Earth’s atmosphere and make impact. Even though the initial damage is minimal, nerves are frayed throughout the planet. There is significant physical damage to the lunar surface, but experts quickly conclude there will be no lasting ramifications. Then strange anomalies begin to manifest themselves on Earth. It starts small – cell phone disruptions, unusual static charges and odd tidal behavior. The world’s leading scientists, including Alex Kittner, Maddie Rhodes and Roland Emerson, begin piecing together evidence that suggests the moon’s properties, and its orbit, may have been permanently altered. Their fears are realized when the anomalies increase to the point where the effect of “simulated” gravity is being manipulated by increased electromagnetic surges coming from the moon. People, cars and other objects are rendered momentarily weightless in random, isolated areas around the globe. Alex, Maddie, Roland and the rest of their team soon discover something far worse – the moon’s new orbit has put it on a collision course with Earth! The world now has 39 days to stop it or Earth, and all of mankind, will perish. After a failed attempt by the United States to destroy the moon, our heroes bring all the countries of the world together in one last hope for humanity – an international mission to the moon itself where astronauts will attempt to reverse the magnetic effects and restore the moon to its original orbit. Alex, whose children are now missing after the latest rampage of anti-gravity, is emotionally torn as he must now join Roland and two other astronauts on the Earth saving mission into space. It is a race against time as the two celestial bodies are drawn closer and closer to impact, the world united, watching and praying, the survival of mankind in the balance.

Anyone else think the loch ness monster is a joke?
I saw a documentary on it a couple of years ago, and while it was completely unbiased, it left no doubt in my mind that the loch ness monster isn’t real.

The documentary showed how easily sticks and rocks in the water can be mistaken for humps or a head. It showed a number of hoaxes that were believed by many, but later found out to be fraud.

It also said that if the loch ness was a plesiosaur, as described, then it would need air, and would surface every few hours, meaning there would be far more sightings.

Not to mention all the searches that have been done and found nothing.

Isn’t it a bit convenient all these idiot locals see the monster when no one is around, yet when they actually look for it there’s no trace? T

here’s so much evidence against it, I can’t help but feel the only people who believe in it are idiots.

Lol, I never believed it was real. It’s a legend and although I haven’t looked in depth at it the way you saw that documentary – I’d assume that its not probable for a being like that to exist in these times anyway.

Is Geert Wilders a Political Prisioner of Dutch justice?
Geert Wilders: ‘I want Muslim fanatic to speak in my defence’

Geert Wilders, the Dutch far-Right MP, has demanded that his race hate trial should hear evidence from the fanatic who used the Koran to justify killing the director of an anti-Islamic film.

It marked an incendiary opening to the landmark case that has divided the Netherlands over the limits of freedom. Wilders, 46, who is accused of incitement and discrimination, asked for 18 witnesses to be called in his defense, including Mohammed Bouyeri, the man who stabbed and shot Theo Van Gogh in an Amsterdam street in 2004.
